From the ferry docks of Liverpool to the sun-kissed terraces of Smithdown, we're chasing that fleeting British summer feeling. Salty air. Seafood. Cold wine. Sun-faded nostalgia, long shadows and the last of the evening sun.
Expect chicken & leek croquettes with tarragon mayonnaise, barbecued courgette & stone fruit, and wild sea bass with tartare sauce. Familiar flavours dressed up for summer.
Then comes dessert: strawberry & clotted cream choux bun with sesame custard. The kind of pudding that feels like the end of a perfect day at your local neighbourhood bistro.
Is that the unmistakable soundtrack of seagulls arguing over somebody else's dinner, or a sign that you should book?
