Continuing with our series of chef collaborations, Belzan will visit Another Hand in Manchester on Tuesday 12 March. Heading across the M62, Mark and Sam will join Chef Patron Julian Pizer in the kitchen to serve up a six-course menu featuring a combination of house favourites and new dishes from each venue.

Like ourselves they are tucked away in an unassuming part of the city, feature in the Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide’s top 100, and have a small team whose passion, creativity, and love for simple honest
ingredients has won them multiple accolades.

All details of the evenings agenda are available to view on Another Hand’s website and bookings are live on their experience page. We will be holding 2 sittings times at 5:30 and 8:30pm, so spaces are limited and wont last long.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Welcome to Belzan. A neighbourhood bistro and wine bar serving humble dishes, inspired by places we’ve been and people we’ve met.

Welcome to Belzan

We are a neighbourhood bistro and wine bar serving humble dishes, inspired by places we’ve been and people we’ve met.

Our menu changes with the ebb and flow of the seasons. Some weeks nothing changes, other weeks 3 or 4 dishes might change, but what is always constant is the attention and care given to every ingredient and guest that comes through the door.

People, produce and provenance are at the heart of everything
we do.

A small restaurant like ours needs more than just great food to survive. It needs a great team. Founded in December 2017 by owners Chris Edwards and Owain Williams, and chef Sam Grainger, a small but incredibly dedicated & talented team has been key to our success.

People, produce and provenance are at the heart of everything we do.

Our menu.

When it comes to the menu our ethos is simple. Appreciate the potential of both highly valued and undervalued ingredients by treating them with respect. Simple dressings, proper amounts of butter, a wood fired barbecue, and classic cooking are all part of what makes us Belzan.

We buy local when it makes sense. We make everything we can by hand. We choose produce from farmers that are careful about their impact on their environment, and wines that reflect
the same ethos.
